  I needed to do a medium sized shop (a lot of things had to be replaced after Christmas ) I managed to get most of the things I wanted and was lucky to be served by a lovely, patient lady called Angela. She was due to go home but was happy to serve me, I didn't feel rushed or pressured to hurry up. In fact we had a nice little chat. She definitely deserves a mention in whatever form Tesco commends it's staff

  Lack of variety for a medium sized store (larger than a Tesco Express). They have a habit of moving stock from one aisle and placing it in another - this happens on a regular basis. Lack of till staff. Lack of tills open. On several occasions at 6am the store had opened nearly 5 minutes late, with security opening up very casually and without apology. There are about 6+ self-checkout machines, usually one of which is broken or at the very least limited to cards. Countless instances of staff being required to verify everyday (non-age restricted) items. You can't grab your own bags to scan, you have to scout out a member of staff babysitting the bags because people steal them otherwise. The store itself, price wise is fairly average. Fruit and vegetables are reasonably priced but those are not for organic produce. The rude boy Asian management denotes from any kind of professionalism. (No, that isn't racist). This is NOT a Superstore. This is Savoy Parade, not the giant Tesco further down Southbury Road. This store does not have underground parking - reviewers please check the address before writing up.
